The wrestling community has been creating a lot of memories before the close of 2023. In a surprising turn of events, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan‘s daughter, Brooke Hogan’s, news of her marriage to former NHL (National Hockey League) player Steven Oleksy has gone viral. Furthermore, what has surprised the fans is the time gap between the actual date of marriage and the date of this announcement.

According to TMZ Sports, Brooke married the former NHL defenseman on June 8, 2022, in Orlando, Florida. Their wedding ceremony only involved the bride and the groom. A month earlier, they had organized another ceremony in Michigan for the Oleksy family. It seems the news was also a big surprise for the Hulkster, as even his presence hasn’t yet been affirmed during the ceremony.

The groom, Steven Oleksy is from Chesterfield, Michigan, and had played undrafted while being in Lake Superior State University. He made his way up the ladder to the NHL by having brief stints with ECHL, IHL, and AHL.

Oleksy has seemingly landed quite a bride in Brooke Hogan. Wrestling fans have known Brooke for her on-screen role with TNA. This news has joined the string of other newly happily married couples in 2023. WWE superstar, Shotzi recently disclosed the news of eloping and marrying the love of her life before a Live Event.

Hulk Hogan heaps praise on The Viper, Randy Orton

Hulk Hogan is one of the living legends of the wrestling business, and earning the respect of such a big name would mean a lot for other stars. The multi-time World Champion recently sat with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. He was asked about his reaction to the recent return of The Viper. Hogan mentioned how the 14-time World Champion has done something he has never seen before.

Randy’s done something I haven’t seen done before. He’s a hybrid. A third-generation wrestler who learned from the old school. You can’t see any holes in his work. Everything he does means something.

Additionally, Hogan would praise Randy Orton for schooling the younger talent. He would not only adapt to their pace but would also deliver lessons that would take them ahead in their careers. 

He even went on to call Orton a “diamond” who has effectively transitioned from the ways of the old school. It seems the Hulkster has steered his life in the direction of positivity, as he was recently seen baptizing himself for a healthy Christian life.
