Hulk Hogan’s EXAGGERATED claims about his son Nick Hogan being offered WrestleMania match against Shane McMahon gets brutally squashed
Fightful Select reported that the higher-ups in WWE outrightly rejected the claims, saying that Nick Hogan's name has never come up in the creative plans in a long time.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest stars the industry has ever seen. His impact on the wrestling business as a whole is undeniable. However, the Hulkster is not the best person to rely on when it comes to telling stories or facts from the past. An investigation squashed the latest story that Hogan made up about his son, Nick, and Shane McMahon.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Hulk Hogan said that Shane McMahon once called and challenged him to a match. However, Hogan said that he had a lot of physical restrictions. Therefore, he could not wrestle a match with Shane. Instead, he suggested that they introduce his son, Nick Hogan, into the feud, and Shane could wrestle him.
As Hogan made the claims, Fightful Select did a little investigation. Unsurprisingly, it turns out that everything Hogan said about the potential match was a lie. Fightful reported that a higher-up in WWE said, “In no way is that true. I can’t think of a time in the last 13 or 14 years that Nick Hogan’s name was brought up at all, much less in a creative capacity. There has never been a serious conversation about him being involved in anything that I can think of.”
They also reported no interest or benefit in doing such a storyline. Therefore, this will also become one of the many false claims that the Hulkster has made in the past. His fake stories include claims that he once worked 500 days a year and wrestled in two different places on the same night.
Hulk Hogan reveals he re-signed with WWE
Despite being one of the most controversial figures in the industry, Hulk Hogan’s star power cannot be denied. Hogan is also well aware of this fact. While talking to Van Vliet, the Hulkster revealed that WWE offered him a new contract. Additionally, he talked about a return to the company sometime in the future.
Hogan said, “I just renewed my deal with them, you know,” When asked about a potential appearance with WWE. Hogan continued, “I hope so. It’s always fun to go out there. And maybe I can hang on to one of the wrestlers to get me out to the ring.” The last time Hogan was on WWE programming was in January, on the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw.
Hogan’s in-ring days are far behind him. However, a decent reaction can always be expected from the fans if the Hulkster decides to show up for a short segment or a backstage interview.
