After making a massive return in 2016, Goldberg seemingly went on a career renaissance. He not only wrestled the top names in WWE but also managed to capture the Universal Championship. However, the WCW Icon didn’t receive a proper send-off from WWE. This made him call Vince McMahon “a piece of s**t“. It seems this comment has caught the attention of Raw Superstar, Ivar.
In his 27th December post on Social Media, the Viking offered himself as an opponent for Goldberg’s retirement match. It seems the former Raw Tag Team Champion is confident about his stature as a singles performer.

Goldberg talks about Sting’s role in his career
Goldberg has been one of the top names in the heydays of WCW. The former World Champion was a part of the “Steve & Captain Evil” podcast. He credited Sting for inspiring him to be a wrestler. He explained how he never looked at wrestlers with much respect but it was Sting who changed his views.
Sting is the reason why I broke into the business. Sting set a great example. I would not have chosen to get into the world of professional wrestling if it wasn’t for Sting. He was a normal dude who went out and did abnormal things.Goldberg on Sting
