Iyo Sky has been doing an amazing job as the WWE Women’s Champion and has had a stellar 2023. However, it seems Iyo is not getting the respect she deserves. Recently, she complained about being snubbed from her deserved spotlight.
Bayley posted a clip on her Instagram story of Iyo looking visibly upset because Bianca Belair was on the SmackDown poster instead of her, despite being the champion. Iyo warned the Houston Toyota Center as a whole to fix this and expressed her dislike for the arena.
Iyo has been the WWE Women’s Champion for almost 150 days and has already defended the titles against the likes of Bianca, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka. Although some fans may not like the way she won, the fact is that she has been an excellent worker.
Iyo was the talk of the town after Survivor Series, as she wreaked havoc with her fantastic dive from the top of the cage. She will be defending her title against Mia Yim at the New Year’s Revolution edition of SmackDown next week. It will be interesting to see whether Iyo retains the title against Michin or whether a new champion will be crowned.

While speaking with Gabby AF on her podcast, Deonna was asked who would’ve liked to wrestle in WWE, and she immediately said Iyo. She said that would be a cool story between them. The two stars have wrestled each other on numerous occasions before.
We actually were in the same PC class at the same time, July 2018. So we came in together, and I feel like that would be a really cool story to tell too, I’d like, look what you’ve gone on to do while you stayed in WWE, and I had to leave and redeem myself a little bit.Deonna Purrazzo on Iyo Sky via Gabby AF podcast
Purrazzo was released by WWE in 2020 because creative thought she was not yet ready for television. She spent two years on NXT and competed against stars like Rhea Ripley, Asuka, and Nia Jax. There is no news of her joining WWE, but anything can happen in the landscape of professional wrestling.
