“Most interesting”; JBL gives acclaim to Edge’s new Faction, compares it with Ministry of Darkness
Edge is currently on a roll with his newly established faction ‘The Judgement Day’ and is being praised by the wrestling industry pundits over his constant reinvention of his character over the years, whether playing a heel or a babyface. ‘The Master Manipulator’ has been in the wrestling industry for over 20 years and has managed to keep himself relevant even after 9 years of forced hiatus due to a neck injury. Edge has recently been referred to as the ‘Master Manipulator’ as he was able to get both Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley on his side in the heel stable.
WWE Hall of Famer, John Charles Layfield aka ‘John Bradshaw Layfield’ or ‘JBL’, who is very vocal about the happenings in the WWE, recently praised Edge’s new gimmick and the faction he created. The Former WWE champion was once himself a part of the heel faction, ‘Ministry of Darkness’, led by The Undertaker.
JBL appeared on WWE’s ‘The Bump’, showering praises on the Faction as being the best thing happening in the WWE after quite some time, and even praising Edge over his constant reinvention of himself:
“Look, I was part of the Ministry of Darkness with Edge. I kind of know where he’s going here. This is one of the most interesting things that WWE has done in years, aside of course from Theory debuting. Edge completely always reinvents himself. He’s done it time and time again and for him to be at the level of greatness that he has been for this long and to be better than he’s ever been is amazing to me.”
Edge names his faction members on RAW
In a promo segment involving the three members, The Master manipulator said that he was “personally responsible” for the end of alliance between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. ‘The Master Manipulator’ is now referring to Rhea as the “The Eradicator” and Damian as “The Punishment”, calling them his “Saints of Fate”.
There also have been rumors of a fourth member being added to the heel stable. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, reported about talks being held in the WWE for addition of one more member to the faction, which currently includes, Edge, Rhea Ripley, and Damian priest.
