Jeff Hardy is a name that almost every wrestling fan knows. Most fans across the world are fond of the “Enigmatic Soul”. Jeff has been a WWE legend both as an individual and as a part of The Hardy Boyz. The 45-year-old has been working for WWE’s rival company, AEW, for a long time now.
Over the years, fans have witnessed many wrestling botches in the ring. Sometimes things don’t go the right way during a match, which leads to a miscalculated move or a failed attempt. Recently on AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Jeff Hardy was the victim of two such horrific botches.
It was a match between The Hardy Boyz and Hook, taking on The Gunn Club and Ethan Page. The rivalry between them has been going on for quite some time now. They finally faced each other at the terrific pay-per-view last night. However, during a match-up between Jeff Hardy and Austin Gunn, the former WWE superstar completely botched two of his moves back to back.
During the match, Jeff Hardy attempted the Twist of Fate on Austin Gunn. But it did not go as planned because he appeared to twist his ankle. He later tried to get back on track by hitting Whisper in the Wind. However, in the attempt, he slipped and fell from the top rope. Jeff Hardy was down for quite some time as his brother Matt Hardy looked worried from ringside.
The fans expressed their worries and concerns for the former WWE superstar on Twitter and other social media platforms. A lot of them think it’s time for Jeff Hardy to retire from wrestling and make way for the younger talents. The Enigmatic Soul already returned after an injury a few months ago, and it looks like he’s injured yet again. Watch the video here.
AEW potentially planning for a brand split in future

AEW President Tony Khan hasn’t publicly revealed his plans for its brand new show Collision yet. But recent rumors have hinted that All Elite Wrestling will implement a roster split when the show premieres on June 17. According to several sources, AEW’s intentions are continuously shifting and will continue to alter after the premiere episode of Collision.
Recent rumors state that AEW performers were told implicitly that Collision may begin as a soft brand split. The two shows will have their own exclusive wrestlers on their respective rosters. It will eventually evolve into a tougher brand split. However, there’s not much news about it yet. AEW fans will get a clear idea of things in the upcoming weeks.
