Jerry Lawler to make an appearance on NXT (via WWE)
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler will have his first WWE TV appearance after a life-threatening stroke situation. He is an absolute legend when it comes to wrestling and commentary. He made a rare appearance on the August 28, 2023 edition of Raw in Memphis, when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn gave a surprise to the fans.
Jerry Lawler has entertained the audience for a long time with his commentary partner, Jim Ross. The WWE legend has had a problem with heart attacks in the past too. On the September 10, 2012, episode of Monday Night Raw, he was in a tag team match with Randy Orton. After defeating CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler, he legitimately collapsed at the announcer’s table during the next match.

Nonetheless, the 73-year-old will make an appearance on WWE programming. According to Ringside News, NXT will invite four WWE Hall of Famers to book the shows for the NXT Deadline on September 9th. Mick Foley, Lita, JBL, and Jerry Lawler will book the show in the upcoming editions of NXT. Lawler will appear later this month.
Fans will be delighted when they see the 73-year-old again on the show. Jerry Lawler has had some unforgettable moments in this industry. Apart from his commentary, the WWE Hall of Famer once battled Michael Cole, which was quite an interesting rivalry between the two.

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler have entertained the fans a lot with their legendary commentary. Certainly, they were the voice of the Attitude Era. Jim Ross is working for AEW right now, while Lawler is still recovering from a heart stroke he had a year ago. The legendary commentator has expressed his desire to meet his old friend again.

During his podcast Grilling JR, Jim Ross said that he has some plans to go on a little tour with Jerry and have an autograph signing session. The 71-year-old was relieved to know that his great friend was feeling better now.
