Jey Uso‘s new chapter on RAW didn’t kick off the way he would’ve liked. Shortly after opening the show this week, Kevin Owens‘ arrival surprised Uso. Of course, The Prizefighter did not forget the agony Jey had inflicted on his well-being during the latter’s stay in The Bloodline. Just when things were about to settle between the two, Judgment Day crashed their segment.
The villainous group’s intentions to recruit Jey Uso into the fold went straight down the drain as a tag-team match became official. Keeping their past aside, Uso and Owens joined forces to tackle the duo of Damian Priest and Finn Balor. However, it did not bode well for the enemies-turned-partners, as Main Event Jey inadvertently kicked Owens’ face. That allowed the tag-team champions to seize a huge win on Raw.
As palpable from the real-time footage, Jey Uso never rattled KO on purpose. Just as ‘Main Event’ Jey was preparing to kick Priest right in the nose, the latter ducked at the right moment. It eventually caused chaos, and Judgment Day grabbed the victory. Later on, backstage, Jey tried to convey his sincere apologies to Kevin Owens, who was already screaming in agony. However, the Prizefighter didn’t move as much.
Owens was incensed over what transpired during the tag-team showdown. Kevin, out of exasperation, barked at Jey to go join The Judgment Day and even colored his hair purple in the process. Sami Zayn was absent from last night’s episode of RAW. With Zayn on course with Jey, it would be interesting to see where all this drama leads. Who knows if Owens might start having a problem with Zayn if the latter keeps aiding Jey Uso?

Jey Uso will meet a familiar foe next week on WWE Raw
After an early blow on Raw, Jey wasn’t done getting scorn from the locker room. Nonetheless, after Drew McIntyre won his match against Xavier Woods, the former confronted Jey backstage. The Scottish Warrior reiterated that he doesn’t trust the 38-year-old and has a score to settle too.
Jey didn’t hesitate to accept McIntyre’s challenge for a match on next week’s Raw. Thus far, although it’s only been a couple of weeks, WWE has rightfully integrated Jey Uso into the RAW roster. Above everything, nobody is willing to trust Uso based on his infamous past with The Bloodline.
That pretty much reflects the fact that they’re following up on Jey’s issues. Given that the management plans to have a Jey vs. Jimmy match potentially at WrestleMania 40, the lead-up to that is shaping up to be an intriguing affair.
