Vince McMahon has been accused of sexual misconduct in the past
Recently during the latest edition of “Jim Cornette Experience podcast”, Jim Cornette shared his views on the recent sexual misconduct allegations levied on Vince McMahon, He said that the only illegal thing McMahon did here was paying the woman with the company ‘s money. Cornette said that this is the least offensive and illegal thing he has ever done in his life. He even accused vince of covering up a murder, cornette was referring to the cover up of snuka’s girlfriend.
“He didn’t abuse anybody, he paid her quite well for her services, and nothing was illegal except for the potential of paying her with company money. If you think of all the things Vince was accused of, whether they were real, imagined, or some element of both, this is one of the least offensive and least illegal. He didn’t carry a briefcase full of alleged cash into a DA’s office in a small town in Pennsylvania to cover up a murder. This story does not compare to that.
Jim Cornette continued saying that Vince McMahon has done worse and illegal things in the past and the present one is nothing in front of them, He meant that the past offences have simply outnumbered the present one in terms of illegality and crime. He also mentioned the trial for steroid racketeering of which Vince was acquitted of all charges. He concluded by stating that Vince McMahon had successfully defeated all of the crimes for which he was accused of.
“”This isn’t as bad or egregious or illegal or whatever as any of the number of things he’s been accused of or admitted to doing in the past. He was on trial for steriod fu*king racketeering, whatever, from the federal government at one point. He beat all that stuff.”
Vince McMahon had been accused of sexual assault and rape by a female referee in 1990 and in 2006 he was charged with sexual harassment by a worker at a tanning bar. All charges were dropped against him in both the cases.
Vince McMahon wrestled his first match in 12 years at WrestleMania 38 at the age of 76. He defeated Pat McAfee with the help of theory but then Stone Cold Steve Austin entered the ring and delivered a stunner to all three of them. Vince has stepped down as the chairman of the company after the sexual misconduct allegations levied against him. Stephanie McMahon has been appointed as the interim chairman of the company.
