While speaking on his podcast, Grilling JR, the veteran commentator revealed that he misses spending time with Ric Flair. According to him, the relationship strained after the Vice documentary “Plane Ride From Hell” aired in 2021. In short, the episode detailed how Flair sexually assaulted a flight attendant. Moreover, Jim Ross mentioned that WWE decided against reprimanding the legend because he was a “made” man.

As a result, the former Evolution member stated that he was disappointed with Ross’ comments after denying the allegations. Ross said on his podcast, “I always say the best way to describe it as that it was a little bit disconnected. It’s unfortunate. I miss those talks. I miss the laughs; I miss the cocktails.” JR is unhappy with how their friendship has deteriorated. Also, he made it clear that he was open to mending the fences with Ric Flair.
