The murder of Bruiser Brody in 1988 is one of the most controversial incidents in professional wrestling. Jose Gonzalez, a co-worker, stabbed the Hall of Famer during an event in Puerto Rico. Recently, Hulk Hogan opened up about the unfortunate night.

While speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, the Hulkster reminisced about his experience during the same era. First, he detailed the time he went to Puerto Rico, where he and Randy Sav*ge wrestled together. As per Hogan, the latter’s locker room was trashed, which forced him to rush to his locker room.

On arrival, he found another wrestler with a gun who threatened him. Furthermore, Hulk Hogan shared the story about Bruiser Body’s murder in the same country. “Bruiser Brody goes down there and has a little argument. The booker calls him into the shower, cuts his throat, and kills him. That’s down there in Puerto Rico,” the 70-year-old revealed.

“Jesus Christ,” responded a shocked Joe Rogan. Hulk Hogan continued to explain that Bruiser was killed because he was hard to work with. Therefore, Jose decided to take matters into his own hands and slit his throat in the shower. The details of the entire incident stunned Rogan who called it a cr*zy story. Previously, the Hulkster claimed that Harley Race once threatened him at gunpoint during the 1980s.
