John Cena is reportedly set to make a return to WWE in a few weeks from now. Though his last run saw him getting defeated by the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, the WWE universe is expecting this run to be far more better. The former 16-time world champion has some busy Hollywood schedules currently but is reportedly out of any plans near SummerSlam.
On the other hand, the current United States Champion, Theory, has been one of the breakout stars of the current months and the young superstar has got into the spotlight of all with his performances. The champion being called Vince McMahon’s protege, is a far known fact that he is set to get a huge push in the company and is going to be groomed as the next John Cena.
Will John Cena pass the torch to Theory anytime soon?
John Cena and Theory have addressed about each other earlier. Though Theory has been a bit harsh and has boasted about his championship win and association with Vince McMahon, John Cena has praised the young superstars continuously calling him a huge talent and the future of the company. But with the recent trading of messages, Cena’s return could see a potential match with the United States Champion.
Recently, a video sparked through the internet where Cena called Theory the best superstar currently adding that he was the only superstar who needed an Attitude Adjustment. But the United States Champion didn’t take it good and reacted to the video by saying ‘Stop playing dress up and do something about it’. A potential match between the two when Cena returns is the most likely match that can happen.
