This week’s SmackDown saw John Cena acknowledge his 2,002-day streak of not winning a televised singles match in WWE. The leader of the nation vented his frustration over the dip in his career. However, Cena soaked up the energy he received from the crowd and delivered an iconic promo afterward.
Cena expressed his frustration over his disastrous losing record of over 2,002 days. He was pumped up as he called out someone to face, only to get confronted by Solo Sikoa. Cena delivered an attitude adjustment to Sikoa, hinting towards their match-up at Crown Jewel.
Following SmackDown, John Cena posted a heartwarming message on X after the WWE Universe showed him their support. He expressed his gratitude and thanked the WWE Universe for supporting him.

John Cena retracts the retirement hint
John Cena teased his retirement on SmackDown. The 16-time World Champion has been regularly teasing his departure from WWE as the end of SAG-AFTRA looks near. Recently, Cena posted a hint about extending his stay in WWE as a cryptic meme on his Instagram.
The Leader of Cenation posted a meme from a photo of Leonardo DiCaprio from the 2013 film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street.’ In the aforementioned scene, DiCaprio’s character made it clear that he was not leaving his role in the establishment. This can be considered as a possible tease towards John Cena’s diversion from retirement.
It looks like there is more in store for the fans in the historic homecoming of John Cena. As of now, Cena is in a heated feud with the Bloodline. Moreover, rumors speculate him facing off with Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel.
