The former 16-time World Champion surprised his fans when it was announced that he would be starring in the upcoming Barbie movie. The shock only got bigger when it was revealed that Cena would be playing a mermaid in the movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Reynolds. Therefore, fans are excited for the release of the movie to see Cena in his most bizarre role yet.

The movie is set to release worldwide on July 21st, clashing with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. However, it looks like Cena’s movie might have to go through some trouble on an international level. According to Deadline, due to a scene that questions some geo-political disputes in Vietnam, the country has banned the movie for commercial screening.

The Philippines has also not given its final verdict on whether the movie should be released or not. However, the bans should not affect the Box Office collections for the movie.
