Fast X released in cinemas on May 19 and has been trending worldwide. The multi-starrer 10th movie from the Fast saga was a success at the box office in its opening week. Moreover, the film is also getting praise from fans for the performances by the cast and the action scenes. It is winning the hearts of fans and critics worldwide.

Fast X is the latest edition in the Fast and Furious series. It is also the first part of the trilogy, as announced before the movie’s release. The franchise was started by “The Fast and The Furious” which was released in 2001. Multiple Hollywood stars have been a part of the franchise throughout the years. According to the reports, Fast X made $319 million in the first week after its release. This is the highest-grossing opening for any movie in 2023 except for The Super Mario Bros. The Chris Pratt-led film has made $1.2 billion globally in the nine weeks since its release. Besides, the movie has been a great success for the fans who played the original video game with the same name.

Fast X has also been a success in the international market. It made $251.7 million in the 84 markets that released the movie. However, in the United States, the film only had mediocre success compared to the previous Fast and Furious movies. It only made $67.5 million in North American theaters.

It is below average when compared to F9 and other Fast and Furious movies. The movie starred Vin Diesel, John Cena, Jason Mamoa, Brie Larson, Charlize Theron, and Jason Statham, among others. The franchise has multiple superstars in the movie, including Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Paul Walker, etc.

The 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena has an important cameo in Fast X. He recently tweeted a “Thank You” note for all the fans who made the movie a huge success. Cena played the role of Dominik Toretto’s brother, Jakob Torreto, who was introduced in the ninth movie, F9. Besides, the fans expect Jake Toretto to return in the subsequent movies that will be released in the coming years.

John Cena thanked all the fans for making Fast X the No. 1 movie in the world for the weekend. He also expressed gratitude for being part of the franchise that has connected fans for over 20 years.
