John Cena granted his 1000th wish to a child of Make-A-Wish foundation to register his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

As many are aware WWE has tied up its hands with numerous foundations to make lives better. One such foundation is Make-A-Wish Foundation that focuses on fulfilling wishes of children between 21/2 – 18 years who are suffering with chronic or life-threatening diseases.

John Cena has been actively associated with the organization since 2002. Cena has now registered himself in the Guinness World Records for granting the most wishes from Make-A-Wish foundation.

The Guinness World Records website posted that Cena has been cited for completing 1000 wishes through Make-A-Wish foundation. The number is massive for the fact that no other celebrity in the 42-year history of the foundation has been able to complete more than 200 wishes.

This goes on to show how much people love Cena and especially children who worship him like a hero. Also, credit needs to be given to Cena as well for his utmost commitment to the organization as one of his earlier interviews clearly reveals how much John Cena is actually passionate about the idea of the organization.

Cena said in an interview when he completed the 600th wish- “We’ve all experienced that joy of giving a gift for the holidays where you just nail it — that’s the same gift I get in giving back to people’s lives, in being able to give them wonderful emotional moments.”

Cena said that no matter what he is doing, he can drop anything just to give these kids the most memorable moments of their lives. Cena is currently a part-timer as he has moved more into the showbiz but his connection with WWE and Make-A-Wish foundation has been special and would remain so for a long-long time.
