John Cena was last seen on WWE television few weeks ago celebrating his 20th Anniversary with the company. Following the June 27th episode of Monday Night Raw, Cena went away to shoot the new season of The Peacemaker in Vancouver.
Well, it seems like the Franchise Player is currently enjoying his time with his wife Shay Shariatzadeh at site of his Peacemaker series. A recent photo of Cena and Shay being dressed up like a bride and groom have been remorselessly going viral.
The picture was grabbed by TMZ sports and it can be clearly seen that maybe Cena and Shay have tied their knots once again, but this time in kind of a more public manner. The WWE legend is dashing his dark blue suit while his gorgeous groom was seen flaunting her look in a beautiful backless floral themed dress in the pic captured by TMZ. John Cena was previously pencilled in for a Summerslam match
The moment WWE announced Cena’s return to WWE for his 20th Anniversary special, avid WWE fans started speculating about the return match for their champ and when tnsy coulf possibly happen. With Summerslam around the corner, several reports also stated that the 16-time World Champion was set to face the rising star and Mr. Money in the Bank Theory this year at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
However, in his promo John wouldn’t go onto specify a particular date for his next match although he confirmed that it ain’t just gonna be a single one of them. WWE Universe was thrilled to hear that Cena would compete in multiple matches before hanging his boots up but no clear direction for his immediate future was indicated by his Raw speech.
Later, it was revealed that he won’t be a part of Summerslam this year as he had already lined up the Peacemaker shoot in Vancouver. Now the talks of doing Cena vs. Theory have been shifted to Wrestlemania until next year in Los Angeles. By the way for those who are unaware, tickets for Wrestlemania 39 go on-sale from August 12 next month.
