However, he is also a well-recognized name in the realm of pop culture, even before he ventured into Hollywood. As proof of his mainstream popularity, American rapper Drake name-dropped the WWE legend in his latest song.
The Cenation Leader was in the lyrics of Drake’s latest song, “Wick Man“. It is the fourth song of the global music artist’s recent reissue of his 2023 album, “For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition.” The song was released on Friday, November 17. Moreover, John Cena has a deep history with the art of rapping. The WWE legend rose to prominence as the “Doctor of Thuganomics” with the usage of such compelling rap rhymes. Rapping may be a thing of the past for the Peacemaker star now. But, even after all this time, it continues to hold a significant place in his life.
Is John Cena contemplating a WWE retirement?
John Cena has dedicated over twenty years of his life to WWE. He carried the Stamford-based promotion on his back for the last two decades, representing them on a global scale. Nonetheless, every great story has an ending, and Cena’s long WWE career is no exception. John Cena worked a full-time schedule in WWE from early September until the first week of November. He has been the fixture of the blue brand for the last two months, putting over the likes of LA Knight and Solo Sikoa. However, his crushing defeat at the hands of the Enforcer of The Bloodline came as a major blow to his fans.
On the most recent episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman declared that the 46-year-old would never return to WWE. With WWE promoting Solo Sikoa as the man who ended John Cena’s WWE career, many fans have been wondering if the Crown Jewel match was his final match.
While the Franchise Player might be teasing his retirement, his match against Solo Sikoa might not be his last match. John Cena will likely return to in-ring action during the Royal Rumble season. Cena has likely resumed his Hollywood commitments with the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
