Throughout his illustrious career, John Cena has competed in numerous match situations. Without a doubt, the Franchise Player’s WrestleMania debut might have been one of the most important moments of his WWE run. Cena squared off against Big Show for the United States Championship at the 20th edition of the spectacle. Moreover, the match was in front of a rabid Madison Square Garden crowd.

Recently, the sixteen-time World Champion spoke in detail about that thunderous night at the MSG. On his social media account, Cena seemingly revealed that he was unsure whether he could pick up the giant for the Attitude Adjustment. Furthermore, he recalled the closing sequence of the bout, where the Cenation Leader used ceramic steel knuckles to pick up the win.

Needless to say, his first appearance at the Showcase of Immortals cemented his place as a future World Champion within the company. Evidently, the Greatest Of All Time would go on to capture the WWE Championship a year later against JBL.

While speaking with Terry Seymour of Extra, the sixteen-time World Champion claimed that he was lucky to receive the opportunity. Moreover, Cena hilariously stated that he just had to put on a fishtail and a blonde wig.
