John Cena had been rumored to go against Austin Theory at WrestleMania. The ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ is sure to be a mega event with big stars stepping inside the ring. Recently, Wrestle Features took to Twitter to announce Cena’s return to WWE Monday Night RAW and bridge the gap to WrestleMania.
“He’s back! John Cena returns to WWE on the March 6, 2023 edition of WWE RAW,” it wrote. His return to the upcoming episode of RAW will be a massive one. This will not only clarify that Cena will be a major star on the WrestleMania card but also pave the way for his opponent at the upcoming Premium Live Event.
Dave Meltzer made bold claims that John Cena would face Austin Theory at WrestleMania when he last appeared in the ring. However, there hasn’t been any update on the speculated match as of now. However, Austin Theory opened up about the same after retaining his US title at Elimination Chamber.

Austin Theory breaks the silence on facing John Cena at WrestleMania
The current United States Champion has had quite a great championship run. Taking a recent example of the Elimination Chamber, Austin Theory stood tall amongst five other men from the division to claim his dominance in the ring. Despite receiving a helping hand from Logan Paul, eventually it was he who rose above all.
However, during the press conference held after the Elimination Chamber, he was asked to provide his take on defending the championship against John Cena. Theory did not respond to the question with an answer but asked one in return. He asked the reporters why they always talk about Cena.
Austin Theory felt extremely proud of his title defence against five other men and wanted everyone to praise him for the same. He also asked all of them to ask him a different question next time. The clarity of their rivalry can only be confirmed when Cena gets back to the ring.
