The young lads of today need to master the art of selling, and they can do it by simply looking at John Cena. Just to highlight the wicked Samoan Spike delivered to him by Solo Sikoa last week, he turned up on SmackDown with his throat being gruffy. However, it was not something that could’ve stopped him from cooking The Street Champion hours before their showdown at Crown Jewel.
He reverted to the days when Cena used to dissect his fellow superstars during the Ruthless Aggression era. Although he wasn’t as harsh on Solo, it was enough to keep the latter numb. John pleaded for Sikoa to say something, as the fans had been waiting to hear. However, the 16-time World Champion chuckled at Solo’s verbal incompetency and affirmed that he could do this with half of his voice.
Cena pledged to destroy Solo in under 90 seconds, and that’s exactly what he ended up doing. John yelled at Sikoa for even having a job in WWE due to his cousin. Then, not buying any of The Enforcer’s menacing credentials, John Cena bashed the Bloodline member for just being a bargain-basement Taz rip-off, throwing shade at the AEW commentator. One could tell that Solo Sikoa did right there.
And if that wasn’t enough, Cena asked his opponent for a favor. The Cenation Leader asked Sikoa to tape his thumb up because the only place that’s getting stuck tomorrow is straight up his a**. The crowd erupted in jubilation, as this was the John Cena they’d been clamoring to see. Needless to say, there was nothing Solo Sikoa could’ve done to evade the blitzkrieg of words at him.
John Cena and Solo Sikoa stand even before their showdown at Crown Jewel
The way WWE has built up this feud, one has to believe that John Cena might take down The Enforcer at Crown Jewel. What do the betting odds say? At this juncture, it’s pretty even, Steven. The two will face off for the first time in a match at the upcoming premium live event.
According to Bet Online, both Solo and Cena are currently listed at -120, which means there’s nothing to separate the two individuals. By far, no other match on the card is so equivocally placed. Although it’s hard to predict, the match is going to be an amazing showdown.
Cena has not won a singles match in over 2,000 days, and he’s hellbent on breaking the streak. However, after the way he embarrassed Solo Sikoa on SmackDown, it may incite The Enforcer better than ever. Things are not going to be easy for either of the competitors, and Cena has a lot at stake.
