The highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 1 game’s lineup of characters was released a day ago. The Kombat Pack’s tradition has included characters from different universes like The Joker, Rambo, and many others. But this edition features three very different characters from distinct universes, including WWE star John Cena’s persona of Peacemaker from his DCEU. This inclusion of Peacemaker has gamers polarized.

The playable characters in the game have been divided into three packs. The third pack, namely Kombat Pack 1, includes the DLC characters that will be available post-release of the game. The Kombat Pack includes Homelander, Omni-Man, and Peacemaker as guest characters making their debut in the game. Their specialties have been mentioned as the gory and violent characters that will help make the game even more enjoyable.

But the last third and most talked-about character of John Cena‘s Peacemaker is what makes the fans question his presence. As the fans suggest, any other DC character could have been perfect for the game, but not him.
