John Morrison gets honest on CM Punk’s Anger Issues: “When things don’t go his way”
John Morrison and CM Punk
John Morrison is one of those superstars who amassed a great following, but WWE did not push him to his full potential. Morrison had two runs in the company and was unable to win the top prize in both of them. He has a lot of good relationships with a lot of superstars, from both, past and present.
John Morrison touched on one of the most contentious topics in the wrestling industry, CM Punk, in an interview with Adi Shankar’s Bootleg Universe. Morrison shared the locker room with Punk fifteen years ago in ECW, followed by a brief run on SmackDown.
John Morrison revealed Punk has a very short temper and that if things do not go his way, he loses it. John believes that Punk is still upset over his tricep injury, as he could not make most of it crowning as the top star in AEW.
Morrison said, “He’s always had a temper when things don’t go his way. In his defense, what he wants is to make it, you know? … I don’t know exactly the extent of his injuries, but I think he tore … his upper tricep or something on the dive, … which is very frustrating. So he’s frustrated because he’s got this big opportunity to carry the company, and he’s got this huge paycheck, and he tears his tricep and his foot”.
John Morrison comments on CM Punk rant
Morrison also addressed Punk’s outburst on the AEW roster, including Colt Cabana. John strongly believes there are two sides to a coin, but in the version that is publicly heard, it’s very evident that what Punk said was correct.
As if John would not have said such things about a roster he is now on. But, once again, CM Punk is well-known for doing things like this, and the Pipe Bomb promo, which launched his career, was a prime example of this.
John Morrison has not been a big fan of CM Punk, but he believes some of his comments are valid. There are many rumors about Punk, but no one knows what the multi-time world champion will do in the future.
