Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is often dubbed as the most electrifying in the sports entertainment industry. It has been more than 6 years since The People’s Champ stepped foot in a WWE ring and fans around the world want to see him again in the ring but this time at the grandest stage of them all WrestleMania. Well, according to rumours The Rock will face the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood.
Though Johnson is busy promoting his next venture Black Adam which is scheduled to hit the screens on 21st October. Though there has been no official confirmation regarding The Rock’s appearance at WrestleMania 39, the fans and wrestling observers are all hyped about The Bhrama Bull’s return to the squared circle.

Dwayne Johnson can team up with his daughter at WrestleMania: Jim Ross
Well, there’s still time to determine if Dwayne Johnson would be appearing at WrestleMania 39 but his match predictions have already been started on social media and by wrestling observers as well. Former WWE announcer and commentator Jim Ross has altogether a different take on who should The Rock face at WrestleMania.
Speaking on his “Grilling JR” podcast Ross noted that Johnson might be seen at WrestleMania in tag team action with her daughter in a mixed match challenge. Ross explained – “Here’s the thing, I could see Rock having a mixed tag with his daughter at WrestleMania, I can see that, Now, there will be naysayers that will knock that idea, which is fine, that’s expected.
But that’s a safe [option], it’s a way to get him on TV, get his name and her name and image in the promotion.” Ross believes that this is rather a safe way to project The Rock and also build the hype for his daughter Ava Raine. Johnson’s daughter had made her debut at a live show about a month ago where she delivered a powerful promo but is yet to fight her first match in the company.
But with less than a year left in WrestleMania, it is unlikely that the upcoming diva could headline the show but if it’s WWE then anything can happen for sure. But, even then Reigns vs The Rock is still on the cards as the match was also teased in the Young Rock’s season 3 where Roman Reigns asks Rock for a match and he replies that a match this big can only happen at a grand stage like WrestleMania. Fans are excited that if this happens it could be a once in a lifetime fair for many.
