Crown Jewel 2023 was one of the biggest premium live events of WWE this year. The star-studded show featured the anticipated match between the EST of WWE Bianca Belair and Women’s Champion Iyo Sky. The two stars delivered a marquee match. However, the highlight of the night was the closing sequence of the contest, when the WWE Universe witnessed the return of Kairi Sane.

Both Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky put on a show at Crown Jewel. This was the first time the two rivals faced each other after Sky cashed in her MITB contract at SummerSlam. Both superstars showcased their wrestling techniques. However, the result of the match was determined by the involvement of returning Kairi Sane, as she attacked The EST to leave an exclamation mark.

Damage CTRL leader Bayley tried to get involved in the match. However, Bianca Belair removed her from the mix. Furthermore, Sane’s return has certainly left a question mark on the status between Bayley and Iyo Sky from here on out. Sane’s return might have some huge implications for the women’s division. Ironically, Bayley was the one who took out Kairi Sane back in 2020, forcing her to leave WWE. It is going to be interesting to see the dynamics of the Pirate Princess with the Role Model.
