Major Update states WWE has not contacted Kairi Sane for the rumored Royal Rumble return

Kairi Sane was one of WWE’s future stars. She was never scheduled as a top star and was always in the middle of the show as part of a tag team with Asuka. Although she won the Tag Team Championships as a part of the Kabuki Warriors, she was never considered seriously in the single class.

Kairi was heavily booked under Triple H, leading to suspicion that The Game may make her comeback. She is presently employed with NJPW and is the Women’s Champion there. Triple H was reported to be acquiring Kairi Sane for the Royal Rumble event the following year, but something fresh has emerged.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was some backstage chatter, but nothing had been verified as of last weekend. They have not even attempted to contact the Champion. Perhaps plans will alter or the WWE will contact her later in the month of January 2023.

The Report Stated, “Regarding rumors of Kairi Sane returning for the Royal Rumble, what we do know is that as of this past weekend, there has been no contact from WWE to Stardom (Kairi is under contract to them now as IWGP women’s champion) asking for her. That could come later as WWE puts together that match and needs 30 women, but there is the obvious politics.”

The Japanese wrestler created history in NJPW by becoming the first-ever IGWP Champion, but will she ever return to WWE? It is believed that she signed a contract with NJPW in the year 2021, and it is a multi-year deal. This implies she still has some time remaining in the organization, but what happens after that?

Kairi Sane may return to WWE because she is incredibly gifted, and Triple H understands what true talent is worth. The Game will do his all to make her comeback since he has always been a strong fan of hers. If she were to make a comeback, WWE must pay her more money because she is now a top wrestler.
