WWE Superstar Karrion Kross had one of the greatest runs on NXT. After debuting in May 2020, Kross quickly captured the NXT Championship. However, all the glory he achieved during those days came in the pandemic era. Recently, the Doom Walker talked about the possibility of returning to the Gold brand.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Karrion Kross stated that he will return to NXT only if the story is right. “The narrative should make sense, and it should be under the right circumstances. I wouldn’t just want to go back for the hell of it. I would want to go back for something good for them,” he said.

Karrion Kross was a dominant force in NXT during his days as the NXT Champion. While speaking in the podcast, he expressed that he used to feel isolated at the time of the pandemic. Moreover, Kross expressed his gratitude and stated that the audience carried him through that period. He felt the crowd at the NXT shows and Takeovers like his family.

The 38-year-old only suffered one defeat during his time with the brand. He had amazing feuds with stars like Finn Balor, Adam Cole, and Tommaso Ciampa. The Herald of Doomsday was called up to the main roster back in 2022 alongside his wife Scarlett Bordeaux. However, his lackluster feuds and poor booking halted his momentum on the main roster.

Karrion Kross breaks silence on alleged heat with Dave Bautista

Karrion Kross broke the internet back in 2019 when he called out Dave Bautista for a match. It was when Kross was in his former promotion. At Josh Barnett’s Bloodsports 2, after his match against Nick Gage, Kross called out The Animal. Recently, the Doom Walker broke his silence and addressed the issue.

On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the former NXT Champion clarified that he did not have any animosity with Dave Bautista and that he only wanted to have a match. Kross said that he was informed prior to his match that the Hollywood star was in the same building where Bloodsports 2 was taking place due to his movie’s shoot.

The 38-year-old revealed that he wanted to share the ring with Dave Bautista, as he had always idolized him. Therefore, he called out the WWE legend for a match. The Doom Walker revealed that he would love to share the ring with the former World Heavyweight Champion at some point in the future.
