Kevin Owens has been a must-see thing in WWE over the past few years. He recently main-evented night 1 of Wrestlemania 38 in a match against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Many would argue that this was potentially the biggest moment Owens had in his career so far.

But, he ain’t stopping yet. Kevin Owens recently expressed his desire to work with Mattew McConaughey at next year’s Wrestlemania in Los Angeles.

Also, Wrestlemania 38 saw many celebrities wrestling with the likes of Logan Paul and the Jackass star Johnny Knoxville. This growing trend of celebrity matches at Wrestlemania is seemingly becoming a tradition going forward in WWE. The Owens-McConaughey thing could become the latest saga in that tradition. Speaking on After the Bell podcast Kevin has to say the following :-

“I remember not long after that [McConaughey attending a WWE show] he talked about how he’d love to do something in WWE. I don’t know him at all, but to me he seems like the kind of guy who would be coming in to do it right and have a blast. People like that are welcome in our industry any time,” Owens said. Owens named McConaughey as his dream opponent.

Corey Graves further jokingly added that the guests on his podcast speak things into existence when they appear on hsi show. Kevin Owens said the following in response to that :- “So yeah, if we’re speaking things into existence, WrestleMania 39, come at me, McConaughey, I’m gonna f*** you up!”

This match could turn into a reality.

Well, a term exists in WWE which says – ‘Never say Never’. So counting on this, this match could really become a reality at next year’s showcase of the immortals. More importantly next year’s Wrestlemania is being dubbed as “Wrestlemania goes Hollywood “ so we can expect a few more celebrities showing their interest in doing a “tango “ in the ring.

Well, we’ll to wait and see whether Kevin’s enraging words about Matt McConaughey drives him to the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles next year or not.
