It doesn’t matter if he has a broken finger; Kevin Owens always stays up to the task when it’s about hanging out with his family. The Prizefighter recently visited the Disney World resort in the wake of the ongoing Candlelight Processional. And guess what? He ran into Brendan Fraser. Owens, his wife, Karina Lamer, and their daughter, Elodie Leila, posed for a picture alongside The Whale actor.
WWE posted that image on its official social media handles, and it has received an overwhelming response from the fans. Everyone is buzzing about the encounter the fans didn’t know they needed. Speaking of Fraser, he was the guest narrator for the 2023 Candlelight Processional between 12 and 14 December. Thus, it needs to be said that Owens and family planned their visit to EPCOT to perfection and bumped into the Oscar-awardee.
Kevin Owens was draped in festive fervor as he flaunted a red outfit. The French-Canadian is spending quality time with his loved ones, and it’s truly heartwarming to see. He’s had an eventful 2023, where he got to headline the first night of WrestleMania alongside his best friend, Sami Zayn. They downed The Usos to put an end to their record-setting title reign, which spanned for well over 600 days.
Though capturing the Undisputed WWE Tag Team gold in Los Angeles was one of Kevin’s career highlights, his on-screen pairing with Sami Zayn didn’t last forever. Once they lost the title to The Judgment Day, WWE decided to let the two embark on a singles journey. Owens was traded to SmackDown as compensation for Jey Uso‘s switch to Monday Night Raw.
Kevin Owens to battle Austin Theory on SmackDown
Tonight on SmackDown, Kevin Owens has a massive opportunity to march towards Logan Paul and his United States title. Having said that, The Prizefighter will take on Austin Theory in the first-round clash of the US title tournament. In kayfabe, Kevin has a broken finger that almost tripped him out of the picture.
Last week after SmackDown, Nick Aldis checked on Kevin Owens and suggested the former Universal Champion to withdraw from the tourney. However, unfazed by his physical ineptness, Owens pleaded with the SmackDown GM to let him punch Austin Theory’s face.
Knowing that the doctors had shown a green flag to Kevin, the general manager was left with no choice but to allow Owens to partake in what’s going to be a grudge affair for the Quebec-based wrestler.
