Kevin Owens is an accomplished man. Not only inside the squared circle but also as a father. He has a daughter and a 16-year-old son named Owen, who were kept from having The Paul Brothers on their screen while growing up. Recently, while speaking to Inside The Ropes, Kevin disclosed whether his son has a burning desire to walk in his father’s footsteps as a wrestler.
Owens said that his kid isn’t as passionate about this business as he was in his teenage years. However, Kevin mentioned that his son likes it. The former has a habit of making his little one sit through classic in-ring tangoes. Further, the WWE Superstar said that his son does want to get his hands into this and has made a pitch to get his training underway.
But Owens said he’s in no rush, as Owen just turned 16. Moreover, the latter stands at 6’7″ and 280 pounds. The former Universal Champion said Owen Steen has all the tools to succeed as a professional wrestler if he were to go that way. But as much as that excites Kevin as a father, he just wants his boy to follow his passion.
He's just turned 16, He's six-foot-seven around 280 [pounds] and he's still growing I think. I think if he wants to he has the tools to have a pretty good career if he were to choose.Kevin Owens on his son’s future in wrestling
For the unversed, Owen, Kevin’s son, has outgrown his dad. Recent family photos suggest that Junior Owens is already a giant. It would be interesting to see if The Prizefighter’s own creation pulls off a Dominik Mysterio in the future.
Kevin Owens’ WrestleMania dreams run through Logan Paul
As mentioned earlier, Kevin Owens’ loathing for Logan Paul dates back a long time. Calling his YouTube content extremely aggravating, Kevin never allowed his kids to access The Paul Brothers on the mentioned platform.
And now, the French-Canadian is beefing with The Maverick on WWE television. Their physical encounter at the Royal Rumble had a dubious conclusion, thus unearthing new layers of detestation between the two. A culmination might be on the cards at WrestleMania.
They look set to take their feud to another level, but with another man joining them. And it’s none other than Randy Orton. Everyone knows how Logan tricked the referee at the Elimination Chamber to land a right jab with brass knuckles on Orton’s jaw. Next week on SmackDown, the social media megastar will be on the show. Things are about to get ugly this coming Friday.
