This week’s SmackDown was heavily built around the upcoming PLE, Elimination Chamber. Nick Aldis announced a #1 contender match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the event. As a result, six qualifying matches are going to take place in the coming weeks. One of the matches will be between Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio. During tonight’s episode, the two had a face-to-face backstage, after which R-Truth confronted The Prizefighter.

In a hilarious conversation between the pair, Truth mistook Owens for his tag team partner, The Miz. The wrestling veteran warned the former Universal Champion to look out for “Nick” for being on SmackDown despite being exclusive to Raw. Kevin, in a puzzled manner, asked whether he was talking about Nick Mysterio, to which he replied the General Manager, Aldis.
