He helped me out through a lot of tough times because I was going through a divorce at the time and everything else, and he’s been through a similar situation, and he was just a real brother and especially, you know when you’re on the road, it’s not like I can call anybody. I can, but it’s not the same and to have him there and be that supportive because you know how Randy can be. For him to be that supportive to me, it was nice. Randy has a spot in my heart forever.

The 55-year-old revealed on his podcast that he would’ve loved to manage Riddle. Unfortunately, the money he was offered was not much. He declined the offer because it would’ve taken so much toll on him. Kurt Angle even asked them for more money, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out.

Do you remember they asked me to be your manager? I wouldve loved to be your manager man, but the money was not much. So I was like… I would love to be his manager, but you gotta give me more money

The Original Bro also agreed with Angle’s statement and said there is nothing harder for a wrestler than traveling. He said even if a superstar is cutting a promo, the traveling is the most brutal because it drains them mentally. Riddle recently fought in MLW against Jacob Fatu and managed to win and now he waits for the next challenge in NJPW.
