Kurt Angle says he wouldn’t blame Judgment Day member if he ends up leaving WWE after recent booking
Kurt Angle defended Finn Balor, saying he believes he should have won the World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam.

Kurt Angle and the Judgment Day
The Judgment Day is arguably the number one faction in WWE at the moment. Since WrestleMania 39, they have been featured prominently on television and at live events. Despite that, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle believes their member, Finn Balor, can end up leaving the promotion due to his recent booking.
The Prince has been on the best run of his career on the main roster. However, the Olympic Gold Medalist thinks otherwise. On an episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, he stated that Balor should have won the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
Angle thinks if WWE didn’t do anything special with him, it would be ‘dramatic’. “I wouldn’t blame him if he went off and went somewhere else”, he said. However, the WWE legend also mentioned that he wouldn’t want to see him do that. Moreover, Kurt Angle has suggested that the company should start putting Finn over, as he deserves it.
Finn Balor has yet to win a premium live event match this year. There were a few decisions involving the losses that baffled many fans online. Whether it was losing against Edge at WrestleMania or the recent bout against Seth Rollins, it is hard to argue against Angle’s point.
Kurt Angle talks about fans booing Gable Steveson

Gable Steveson debuted at the NXT premium live event, the Great American Bash. However, things didn’t go according to plan for him. During his match against Baron Corbin, the Gold Medalist was booed heavily by the live audience. “Let’s Go Corbin” and “You’re not Kurt” were a few chants hurled at him.
The double count-out result didn’t help him either, as the crowd kept booing. Despite being heavily pitched as the next Kurt Angle by those backstage, fans saw otherwise. The WWE Hall Of Famer commented on the entire situation on his podcast. He said, “Well I feel badly for him because he’s been compared to me at this point in time. And he hasn’t even barely started.”
Clearly, Kurt Angle felt sad for how Gable Steveson’s debut panned out. Furthermore, Angle said that he is just 23 years old and thus the comparisons between the two are just absurd. He believes that Gable Steveson is very talented when it comes to in-ring skills, but more focus should be on his personality.
