Kurt Angle has been one of the toughest wrestlers ever to set foot in the squared circle. Angle has competed against some of the best in the wrestling industry, with his feuds with Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels in the WWE ranking high on the list of the best WWE rivalries in history.

Kurt Angle also had a successful career in the TNA, becoming a six-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion.The WWE Hall of Famer has also feuded with Triple H during his early years in the WWE and towards the end of the attitude era. The feud was quite entertaining, with Stephanie McMahon also being a part of it. It was fantastic storytelling, as well as some incredible matches between The Game and Angle at Unforgiven 2000 and SummerSlam 2000.

During his second run in WWE, Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey feuded with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The rivalry set the stage for a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 35. The match was Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut, and she and Angle defeated Triple H and McMahon. Rousey’s debut was lauded by the WWE Universe and many wrestling pundits.

Angle recently discussed Rousey’s in-ring ability in an interview with Bill Apter of SK Wrestling. Ronda Rousey is difficult to wrestle and doesn’t have any flaws, according to Angle. Angle stated that if he were to face Ronda Rousey, he would handle her carefully. According to Angle, he would exhaust her before pinning her.

“Ronda would be tough to wrestle. She doesn’t have any weaknesses; the girl has it all. It’s amazing how quickly she caught onto professional wrestling……And once I wear her down, she would become putty in my hands, and I would pin her at will,”

Kurt Angle reveals details about the wrestler he wouldn’t have defeated

In the same interview, Kurt Angle discussed the wrestler he believes he could never defeat. Angle named Bruno Sammartino as the opponent he would have found challenging to defeat. With just 5–6 losses during his career, Angle claimed that Sammartino was the most dominant wrestler in WWE history. Because Bruno was the most unbeatable wrestler, according to Angle, it would have been challenging for him to defeat Bruno.

“Bruno would have been tough to beat. He had a streak when he was the champion. I think it was for 2,800 [2803] days…….So I would so he’s probably one of the most unbeatable wrestlers in the history of the business and I’m not sure if I could have beaten him,”

Bruno Sammartino was dubbed “The Strongest Man in the World” and is the longest reigning WWE Champion at 2803 days. Sammartino’s combined reign stands at 4040 days. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
