WWE veteran and Hall of Famer recently appeared on a show and showered heaps of praise on Pat Mcafee who he said surprised him immensely at WrestleMania with his performance.

The Former NFL punter originally scheduled to have a match against Austin theory wrestled a second match immediately after the first with the chairman of WWE Vince McMahon to whom he lost. This entire segment was extremely entertaining and was one of the highlights of the entire show.

What did the WWE Veteran Kurt Angle say?

WWE Veteran Kurt Angle appearing on his own show called the ‘Kurt Angle Show’ showered heaps on Pat Mcafee. This is what the olympic gold medalist had to say: “Pat McAfee was the surprise performance at WrestleMania. I would’ve never expected him to do what he did, that was pretty amazing, especially for a non-wrestler. That jump to the top rope was impressive, and then the superplex? Wow! He has some good leaps, he’s a great athlete.”

Pat Mcafee’s match at mania garnered a lot of buzz towards WrestleMania. He currently continues to work at the Smackdown announce team with no signs of any possible match in the future, however it would be interesting to see how the company does in fact book Pat Mcafee in the future.

Would Kurt Angle work with AEW?

Kurt Angle also appeared for an interview with ‘WhatCulture’ wherein he was asked if he was open to going back to WWE or would he join AEW. Having listened to that question he revealed that he has received offers from both the companies but turned them down. He also added that if something of value is offered to him by either of the companies he might go in the direction that he likes best, not having any aversion towards any particular company. This is what he said:

Well, I’m leaving it open. I’ve gotten offers from both companies, didn’t accept them. I didn’t feel it was right at that particular time. But if they come up with something that I think is worth it, I will do it,” Angle said.
