LA Knight went Non-PG on WWE SmackDown (via - The Mirror)
This week on SmackDown, Hit Row appeared in the ring for a segment. The fans couldn’t care less, but the arrival of LA Knight at that point changed their minds. The place erupted for the Megastar’s unannounced appearance. As soon as he got on the microphone, it was game over for Hit Row. Wiping off Top Dolla first, Knight said he had cognizance about Will Smith being a rapper. However, he had no idea Uncle Phil had adopted that role too, aiming a dig at Dolla.
He too addressed his opponent for the night, Ashante Thee Adonis. However, the most interesting part came when LA Knight turned his attention towards B-Fab, who was staring at him. Taking a page out of the good old days, LA Knight dropped an NSFW line out of the blue. He said, “But I don’t know, the way B-Fab’s been looking at me, I think she’s got a tingle in her loins. I say she’s h*rny, YEAH!”
It is worth mentioning that WWE hasn’t allowed anyone in a while on their roster to use “h*rny” in their promos. In that sense, LA Knight seems to have gotten someone in the top hierarchy to ease the strings for him. And of course, the jam-packed New Orleans crowd literally exploded after Knight verbally destroyed his counterparts last night. Coming into the match, the Megastar had a cakewalk over Adonis.
Later on, LA Knight met Adam Pearce backstage, who announced the lineup of the newly added Slim Jim SummerSlam Battle Royal. The former Eli Drake expressed his zeal to enter the match and was soon interrupted by the Brawling Brutes. After a slight back-and-forth between Knight and Sheamus, the WWE Official scheduled their singles match for next week on the blue brand.
WWE Universe went bonkers after LA Knight had an NSFW response on SmackDown
It appears like LA Knight’s promo skills are quickly becoming an exception in WWE. His promos remain heads and shoulders above everyone else. This week on SmackDown, Knight’s NSFW drop on B-Fab was actually unexpected. It almost felt like WWE switched to TV-14 for a moment to let Knight have his moment. Fans absolutely loved that promo and reacted to it on Twitter.
After such a segment this week, fans have once again restored their faith in LA Knight’s rumored push. Quite possibly, the SummerSlam Battle Royal is designed to include the 40-year-old on the card in Detroit. What a massive boost it would be for Knight if he pulled off the win in front of nearly 50,000 fans at Ford Field next month.
