The Megastar LA Knight is one of the biggest stars in WWE right now. His meteoric rise in popularity led him to become one of the fan favorites. Although he receives criticism for his position in WWE and is considered an overnight success, Knight has stated that he has worked hard for this position. Recently, the 41-year-old expressed his position in the company and broke his silence about not winning a singles title.

During his appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, Knight stated that he needed to win a championship in the company to cement his position at the top. He added that he needs to prove to everyone that he is worthy of being at the top. Besides, the 41-year-old star expressed his wish to win a world title in WWE. However, he would also like to win a midcard title if it is necessary.

It seems past due in some regards. Some others would say, ‘he doesn’t need it.’ For me, I think I do need it. I think the reason I need it is because it’s the recognition that the company is saying, not even the company is saying, it’s that I have gotten to a level where I have proven that I am beyond worthy. I have proven that I deserve it, and I’ve proven that I’m ready.

LA Knight has witnessed a rapid rise in popularity among fans. He has been a main event star on SmackDown for almost over a year now. It is highly possible that he might win a singles championship later on in 2024. Moreover, he came close to defeating Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel for the Undisputed Title.

Furthermore, Knight will be having another opportunity at the Tribal Chief at the Royal Rumble later this month. It looks like the future is set for the Megastar in WWE. There are some rumors of him facing the United States Champion at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. In 2023, John Cena returned to WWE to spend some time with his fans and on WWE programming. During his time, he had a few memorable moments, which included a program against the Bloodline alongside LA Knight. On his appearance on Insight, Knight heaped some heavy praise on the Leader of the Cenation.

LA Knight stated that Cena was super easy to work with. He added that the 16-time World Champion is really humble. The Megastar praised John Cena, saying he doesn’t overcomplicate things, which is one of the best things about him.

Man, you know what? That is one of the easiest guys to work with. Everything is simple. Everything is, there's not any overly complicated thought process. It's just kinda like, 'Hey, look, when we go out there, we're gonna do our thing. It's gonna be this this this.' 'Cool. Yeah. Great. Wonderful.' But beyond that, super easy to talk to, super cool, super nice.
