The WWE Universe has chosen LA Knight as their next breakdown superstar. Despite abysmal creative directions for the Megastar, people kept rallying behind him. And, at this juncture, Knight is receiving the loudest reactions wherever he performs. However, this didn’t happen out of the blue. The former Eli Drake was adamant on getting his stuff over with the main-roster audience. After displaying unreal consistency, fans accepted him.

However, Knight and his ardent votaries still hold a gripe against one thing. That’s, of course, when he was pulled out of an opportunity to perform at The Show of Shows this year. Heading into the event, the 40-year-old promised everyone an ‘LA Knight moment’ for WrestleMania 39. But, at the end, his segment was reportedly scrapped from the show, causing widespread disappointment.

Speaking to BT Sport, Knight was asked about the same. Obviously, not thrilled about that incident, he revealed why missing out on Mania “p***d him off”. That being so, he received a massive ovation on SmackDown in Los Angeles, a night before WrestleMania. He was a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Despite making it to the final four, he got eliminated by Bronson Reed, prompting a chorus of boos across the Crypto.com Arena.

Knight was irate yet helpless for not being booked the following night at the SoFi stadium. However, he’s not mad about it anymore. Leaving his glaring omission in the rearview, the former Million Dollar Champion claimed that he was going to make up for it.

Can LA Knight ascend to glory at Money in the Bank?

If LA Knight pulls off a victory this Saturday at Money in the Bank, all of his creative sins will be forgotten. He’s going to compete in his first ever Money in the Bank ladder match. He’ll join Logan Paul, Damian Priest, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Butch in that field. Since the addition of The Maverick to the fold, there’s been heavy speculation that Logan Paul might actually end up with that briefcase.

Considering his mammoth following outside of WWE, Paul has multiple reasons as to why the company can hand him that contract. Moreover, due to his part-time schedule, he can execute a well-planned cash-in whenever he wants, wherever he wants. That could create a factor of uncertainty among fans, adding to the overall excitement.

However, if the WWE officials can look beyond that, they’ve got a star in the making inside LA Knight. He just needs to have that one breakout moment. What better place than the O2 Arena in London this weekend to serve that purpose? The answer is nothing else. The creative decision regarding this year’s men’s Money in the Bank contract winner needs to be taken with utmost precision.
