The Megastar LA Knight has been one of the fastest-rising stars in WWE. After achieving enormous support from the WWE Universe, Knight has been a prominent member of the WWE roster. Now, he is all set to add another feather in his cap, as he will be handed over the key to his hometown. A similar gesture was made toward Dwayne Johnson and John Cena as well by their respective hometowns.

According to The Moco Show, LA Knight is set to be honored with the key to Hagerstown, MD, on Wednesday. Before Knight made a name for himself, he was a resident of Hagerstown. He completed high school in 2000. Hagerstown expressed their wish to honor one of the top stars in their city with this magnanimous gesture.

LA Knight, a.k.a. Shaun Ricker was born on November 1, 1982. Moreover, he will be delivering a speech as well, which has the high possibility of showing the colors of the “Yeah” movement. Besides, Knight has been one of the top stars on SmackDown. He also faced Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel for the Undisputed Universal Championship, where he took the Tribal Chief to his limits.

A similar kind of honor was bestowed on Dwayne Johnson as well when he was honored with the key to Miami in 2012. In essence, John Cena was also bestowed with the key to Texas in 2009. Knight receiving the same honor is a sign of the latter following in the footsteps of legends like The Rock and John Cena.
