“Bianca all the way”; Lacey Evans heaps praise on Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair

Bianca Blair Crawford popularly known as Bianca Belair is the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion. Bianca Belair who is also a CrossFit competitor and a power lifter began her career in wrestling when she was reached out by Mark Henry to offer her a try out with WWE. In 2016 Belair signed with WWE under a developmental contract which saw her move to WWE performance centre if Florida.

Belair made her in ring debut in a match against Aliyah which she ended up losing. Bianca Belair made her Wrestlemania debut when she participated in the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. In 2019 Belair got her first shot the NXT Women’s Championship which she lost to Shayna Baszler after multiple interferences.

After Wrestlemania 36 Bianca Belair made her main roster debut where she appeared with the Street Profits. In 2021 Bianca Belair entered the Royal Rumble for the 2nd time in her career and went on to win the name sake event becoming the first ever women of dark complexion to win the event in WWE history. Bianca Belair then confronted Sasha Banks and challenged her for WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship and pinned the champion at wresltemania 37 to secure first championship in WWE. Bianca Belair lost the title to Becky Lynch after holding it for 133 days.

Bianca Belair is set to defend her title against Carmella at Money in the Bank

WWE Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair

After being drafted to Raw in the 2021 draft Bianca Belair won the Elimination Chamber match which made her the number one contender for WWE Raw Women’s Championship. At Wrestlemania 38 Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship which was the second title of her career. On a recent episode of Raw Carmella won match to challenge Bianca Belair for her title.

Lacey Evans who has had her fair share of feuds with the Raw Women’s Champion during there time in NXT, recently appeared on The Bump and was asked about Belair’s chances of retaining the title, the former champion had no doubts about it :

“Bianca all the way. She’s a powerhouse. I’ve been with her since NXT and it’s not a surprise how hard she works. I’m not just talking about being beautiful, I’m not talking about just in the ring, I’m talking about everything. Her gear, as a mom, as a human being, she never stops. So just that motivation is going to shine through like it always does.”

Lacey Evans who recently returned to in ring action after being on maternity leave and is all set to feature in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
