Liv Morgan is the new Smackdown Women's Champion
Liv Morgan is one of the most talented superstars on the WWE roster today. She initially debuted in WWE as part of team known as The Riott Squad alongside former WWE stars Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. Morgan rose to recognition when she started competing as a singles superstar. In 2019, Liv Morgan returned to drop a bombshell during Bobby Lashley and Lana’s wedding segment. Over the next few months, she began competing on a sole basis sharing ring with some of the best superstars in the business including Charlotte Flair and a highly personal feud with Becky Lynch last year in December.
Liv Morgan was slated to compete in her first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match tonight and she faced the toughest challenge of being in the same ring with incredible opponents like Becky Lynch, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans and Shotzi.
The match was an entertaining affair throughout as during in the ending moments, Liv Morgan climbed up the ladder and unhooked the briefcase scripting history in doing so as this win marked her first Money in the Bank contract in her first ever appearance in the ladder match. The WWE Universe exploded with thunderous reactions the moment Liv Morgan grabbed that briefcase. You can check out the video here.
Liv Morgan has the potential to become WWE’s next female superstar
WWE has lately been depending hugely upon a handful of their female superstars to run across their division with the cornerstone of them being The Queen Charlotte Flair who’s currently on a planned hiatus with the company. The lack of their inability to constantly produce newer female stars has what hurting them the most in recent years.
But they may have found a new star in Liv Morgan as been depicted by her on the television. She has a good charisma and fantastic in-ring skills too. They can definitely bet upon her to carry the women’s division on her back once she ultimately becomes the new Women’s Champion potentially after a successful Money in the Bank contract cash-in.
