“Luckily has never bothered me”- Liv Morgan says that she isn’t bothered by those criticizing her SmackDown Women’s Championship win
Liv Morgan with her SmackDown Women's title in WWE
Liv Morgan became the fifth wrestler to cash in the contract and win the WWE Championship. Liv defeated Ronda Rousey to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the MITB Live event. Morgan won the MITB Ladder match by shoving Becky Lynch off the Ladder and balancing her ladder to retrieve the briefcase. Rousey locked Morgan in an angle lock, but Liv kicked her injured knee and then rolled up to pin her and win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Since she started competing seriously in singles matches, Liv has been aiming for the Women’s Championship. In December 2021, she had the chance to defeat Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship, but she lost. She also participated in the 2022 Royal Rumble and entered it as sixth entrant but was eliminated by Brie Bella.

Liv Morgan wants to prove her critics wrong
In a recent SmackDown Lowdown interview, Liv said that she is ready to compete against Ronda once she has fully healed from her injuries. Nobody cares more about the Championship than her, and she wants it more than anybody else, according to her. Liv Morgan came to the conclusion that she would prove the haters wrong by competing more fiercely for the crown.
Liv Morgan appeared on Corey Graves After the Bell podcast and made it plain that she isn’t upset by unfavorable responses to her SmackDown Women’s Title victory. Morgan said that even if you are perfect in your craft, there will be someone who is going to hate you and not like your work. Morgan said that she enjoys the good as much as she enjoys the bad. Liv concluded by saying that the critical views don’t bother her and that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion.
“You could have the most perfect painting, the most perfect drawing, the most perfect meal, [be the] most perfect human in the world and someone’s not gonna like it. You know? I enjoy the good just as much as I enjoy the bad. It’s just something that luckily has never bothered me. I don’t know. Everyone has their opinion and everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.”
Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam. The event will take place on July 30th at Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee.
