Liv Morgan responds to WWE Hall of Famer’s reply after her win at the Clash at the Castle

The Clash at the Castle Live event on Saturday saw Liv Morgan retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Liv Morgan defeated Shayna Baszler in a singles match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The Match was a snooze fest and the crowd didn’t seem to enjoy it.
As the match began Shayna immediately targeted Liv Morgan’s arm. Shayna then delivered German Suplexes and kicks to Morgan but the latter fired back by hitting strikes. Towards the end of the match Shayna Baszler locked Liv Morgan in Kirifuda Clutch and armbar but Liv managed to catch the ropes and free herself. Thereafter Morgan hit the Oblivion to win the match.
The Match seemed to be a disorganized one and Liv Morgan surely needs better bookings from here on. The build up towards the match was such that one had expected much more to happen, but the bout gave the viewers nothing.
Liv Morgan was made to look like a weak champion before the event. Baszler, who seemed like a strong competitor looked weak in the ring at the event. The Match was surely better than her last bout against Ronda Rousey at the SummerSlam.
Today, Morgan tweeted “My heart is so happy” and she was congratulated by WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik, who replied on the post saying “EXCELLENT LIV BUBBA”. Morgan took no time and replied with a black heart emoji.

Shayna Baszler had said that Liv Morgan’s fans knew nothing about wrestling
Shayna Baszler spoke on WWE’s The Bump in August, when she stated that Liv Morgan knows nothing about wrestling. Shayna Baszler stated that Morgan had tapped before the third count dropped, referring to the controversial finish at SummerSlam, vs Ronda Rousey. Shayna Basler stated that everyone knows Morgan tapped out before the count, and her fans are well aware of this, yet they continue to support her.
Shayna Baszler asked Morgan’s supporters whether that’s how they want their idol to be. Baszler remarked that her nieces look to her as a role model because she leaves no question and makes her opponent tap out, which is how a champion should be. Baszler went on to say that Morgan’s followers know nothing about wrestling, and it’s the only reason she can think of how they are supporting her.
