Liv Morgan enjoyed the biggest night of her career this past month at Money in the Bank premium live event when she first won the Women’s MITB contract in the opener going up against 7 other talented competitiors and overcoming all of them to guarantee herself that briefcase. Later on in the night, Ronda Rousey successfully defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Natalya but moments after that Morgan came running in flaunting her Money in the Bank contract and immediately announced her cash-in over an already drained up Ronda Rousey.

She then attacked on Rousey’s bad leg and quickly pinned The Baddest Woman on the Planet to win herself that Smackdown Women’s Title. In the next few weeks on Smackdown, it was confirmed that Rousey will be getting her title rematch against Liv Morgan at Summerslam.

Tonight at Summerslam, their match started off with such heavy offenses from both sides but the more experienced Ronda Rousey soon gain her control over Rousey delivering some hard-hitting rights and lefts all over the young frame of Morgan. Ronda kept executing her plans and that clearly was to humiliate and punish her.

The match shockingly ended when Rousey got tipped onto the mat courtesy of Liv Morgan and got pinned in an unusual manner and utter shock. In the replay, it was clearly visible that Rousey’s shoulder was up but referee wasn’t able to actually locate that and counted down her to a loss. Following this, Ronda became absolutely crazy fuming in anger and seemingly turned heel by continuing her post match attack over Morgan and to that referee also.

As anticipated as the match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, the ending of the contest was pretty unexpected and controversial to say the absolute least. Although, one can complain about it was not that great of a match but still it exactly what it needed to be. The WWE Universe also drew some polarizing reaction regarding the same.
