Will Madcap Moss be able to Overcome Happy Corbin at backlash 2022?

From a storyline jesting partner with Happy Corbin to an Andre the Giant Battle Royale winner, Madcap Moss has started tasting success in his singles career. The wrestler from Minnesota, started out with the name Riddick Moss, and as a rookie teamed with Tino Sabbatelli entering various tournaments.
In the year 2020 he made his main roster debut in WWE and was called Mojo Rawley’s “offensive Sideman”. Until 2021, Madcap Moss was involved in lower card shticks and also became the 24/7 champion, holding the championship for 40 days and eventually losing it to R-Truth.
Moss made his return to the TV after attacking Kevin Owens and then started teaming with Happy Corbin as his employer who is supposed to crack jokes and be on his side. While the two visibly had great chemistry, Corbin’s jealousy and loss at Wrestlemania 38 to Drew McIntyre prompted Corbin to attack Moss, who certainly was on equal footing with the former Lone Wolf.
Losing to Moss will not affect Baron Corbin as both men can give the company a great show at backlash. On the other hand, if Moss loses it will severely affect his momentum, as he is cheered on by the fans whenever his music hits and this win will be his major one as Corbin is considered as an upper card player. Winning at Backlash will be a stepping stone for Moss as a main Event player as he definitely has the skills to be one.
What will be the next for Madcap Moss?
When Moss gets the biggest win of his career over Happy Corbin, WWE can involve him in mid card championship storylines against the likes of Theory and or Ricochet. He can lose or win it won’t matter as Madcap Moss definitely has the WWE universe behind him and his powerhouse in-ring work speaks volumes as well. The run with either IC Title or the US title can certainly tell WWE as well, whether to go for a main event push or not.
