“I think that someone needs to eventually dethrone the guy I look at myself” Madcap Moss expresses desire to face the Champion

Michael Carter Rallis now famously known as Madcap Moss is footballer turned wrestler who currently works for WWE. Madcap Moss played as an outside line-backer for the Golden Gophers football team. After completing his graduation from University of Minnesota Madcap moss decided to pursue a career in wrestling. In 2014 the footballer turned wrestler signed a development contract with WWE to start training at the performance centre. In December of 2014 Madcap Moss made his professional wrestling debut at an NXT live event in Florida.
On a weekly episode of NXT in may of 2015 Madcap made his televised debut in a losing cause. Sabatelli and Madcap Moss formed a team and competed in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic twice. In 2020 Madcap Moss made in main roster debut accompanying Mojo Rawley in his quest for the 24/7 championship. The former footballer would then go on to win the 24/7 championship and would hold onto to it for 41 days before losing it to R-Truth.

Madcap Moss to face Happy Corbin in a first ever Last laugh match
Moss suffered an ACL injury which kept him out of action for a whole year. In 2022 Madcap Moss on a weekly episode of Smackdown won the Andre the Giant Memorial battle Royal. Shortly after that he started a feud with Happy Corbin leading to a series of matches which exhibited Moss’s in ring ability.
In a recent interview with KFAN 100.3’s Power Trip Morning Show After Party Podcast, Madcap expressed his thoughts about Roman Reigns:
“I’d love to get a shot at Roman Reigns. I mean, he is the pinnacle of the business right now. He likes to say he’s in God mode, and it’s hard to disagree with him. God meaning ‘Greatness On a Different level. I mean, it’s just unbelievable what he’s done over the past 8-10 years, but specifically in the last few. He’s really just been untouchable in every aspect of the business. But I think that someone needs to eventually dethrone the guy I look at myself and I say, ‘Why not Madcap?’ So, I got my work cut out for me. I got a ways to go before I get there”
The tribal chief is set to defend his newly unified championship against Matt Riddle on Smackdown. Madcap Moss has been highly praised by everyone in the locker room and is a very talented wrestler, may be down the line he will get his wish to face Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship.
