Mandy Rose has proven herself as one of the most impactful women wrestlers in recent times. She’s currently leading a faction known as The Toxic Attraction alongside Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne which has been a dominant force on NXT 2.0 since last year. Rose is also the current NXT Women’s Champion in her first reign which she won from Raquel Rodriguez back in October at the Halloween Havoc special in a Chuck’s Choice Trick match.

Mandy Rose possess a beautiful array of movesets and in-ring display along with her gorgeous looks which attracts a ton of viewers towards her too. Ever since returning to NXT last year, she was featured in a romantic storyline with Otis which quickly turned into a fan favourite thing. Their unusually cute pairing was a unique flavour on WWE programming and this caused tons of viewers to tune into the show. The God’s greatest creation signed a 5 year contract with WWE after settling as the runner up for that year’s Tough Enough season.

After arriving on the main roster, Mandy Rose initially worked in a faction led by Paige and alongside her best friend Sonya Deville. After separation from that faction known as The Absolution, both women began teaming up for a while before their eventual split up and that caused a “Loser Leaves” match between the two at Summerslam 2020.

As a fact, Trish Stratus is widely regarded as one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time and her contributions towards women’s wrestling has proven revolutionary as in a rage to idolize her, many of current generation women are breaking their barriers and pursuing professional wrestling as a career.

Our current NXT Women’s Mandy Rose also seems very inclined towards the Trailblazing WWE Hall of Famer as she recently revealed on After the Bell, Mandy Rose said that she had always envisioned her character like that of Trish Stratus. She called he looks and in-ring abilities as a vital part of her current run also stating her NXT return as a way to rekindle herself into something new and appealing to the audience bringing that much-needed edginess into her persona. Here’s exactly what she had to say,

“Obviously I’m super athletic and I’ve always envisioned my character to be somewhat like Trish Stratus, right? So like basically, you know, I have the looks but I can back it up in the ring and I can, you know, showcase my true talent and all my abilities. So I think going back to NXT was just a way for me to like kind of start fresh and kind of rebrand my character a little bit and kind of just create a little more edginess to my character.”
