Zoey Stark wins the opportunity to face Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship Championship

Zoey Stark and Mandy Rose in WWE
Mandy Rose has been the most improved WWE female wrestler in recent times. Rose began her WWE career by participating in the show Tough Enough in the sixth season. Mandy Rose was placed second in the competition and thereafter signed a five-year contract with WWE. She made her in-ring debut at a live event of NXT and made her televised debut in August 2016 on NXT. She made her main roster debut in 2017 on RAW and formed an alliance with Sonya Deville and Paige, naming their team as Absolution.
When Paige retired as a wrestler after WrestleMania 34, she ended her association with them and dissolved the Absolution and refused to grant anymore favors to both of them. Deville and Rose continued their alliance as a Tag Team after the dissolution of Absolution. Absolution broke up when Mandy was involved in a love triangle with Otis and Dolph Ziggler in 2020 and when it was revealed that Deville was collaborating with Dolph to keep Otis away from Mandy. Mandy and Sonya faced each other at SummerSlam, where Rose defeated Deville thus ending their feud.
Mandy Rose returned to NXT in 2021 and became the NXT Women’s Champion
In July 2021, Mandy Rose returned to the NXT Brand and in September she qualified to be the no.1 contender for NXT Women’s Championship match. At the Halloween Havoc on October 26, Mandy Rose defeated Raquel Rodriguez to win the NXT Women’s Championship. This is her first Championship win in WWE. Thereafter she defended her title on several occasions.
In January 2022, Mandy Rose defended her NXT Championship against Cora Jade and Raquel Rodriguez at the NXT 2.0’s special episode New Year’s Evil. Thereafter she defended it against Cora Jade Lo Shirai and Kay lee ray in a Fatal Four Way match at NXT: Stand & Deliver. Recently she defended it against Wendy Choo at NXT In your hose event in June.
On the latest episode of NXT, a 20 woman battle royal took place, with the winner getting a title opportunity against Mandy rose. Amari Miller, Tiffany Stratton, Cora Jade, Alba Fyre, Tatum Paxley, Lash Legend and Nikkita Lyons were the participants of the match. Zoey Stark who had been out of action since November due to an injury, made a surprise return by entering the match as 20th entrant at the Battle Royal. Zoey won the match by last eliminating Cora Jade.
It is unknown as of now at which event and where the match for the Championship will take place.
