The all-new Barbie movie is all set to make its way to a worldwide release soon. Therefore, the cast of the movie is firing on all cylinders to promote the movie. 16-time World Champion John Cena is set to make a cameo in the movie. Therefore, lead actress Margot Robbie reveals how the meeting happened and what made the WWE legend appear in the movie.
Robbie revealed that she ran into John Cena in a restaurant while shooting for the film in London. After the meal, when she went to pay the bill, the person told her that Cena had taken care of the bill. The Suicide Squad star praised Cena for that. Robbie revealed that she searched to thank him, adding, “I found him and was like, ‘What are you doing here?’ He was shooting at [the place we were shooting Barbie]. I was like, ‘Do you want to come be a merman in Barbie?’”
The 33-year-old said that she did not expect Cena to say yes but just wanted to try once. To her surprise, Cena immediately accepted the offer and was excited to be a part of the movie. The two actors have worked together in The Suicide Squad and share a great friendship behind the scenes.
The new Barbie movie will feature superstars like Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferell, Rhea Perlman, Issa Rae, and others. The movie will release worldwide on July 21st. The movie is also being talked about by fans because the release date will clash with the release date of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, and many others.

John Cena demands a WrestleMania in London
The Leader of Cenation shocked the world when he made a surprise appearance at this year’s Money In The Bank in London. Cena then cut a passionate promo, praising the crowd for their passion for the sport and their enthusiasm. After hyping up the crowd, Cena asked the people in management to bring WrestleMania 40 to the United Kingdom.
He said that with the expansion of PLEs in different countries, WrestleMania should also move to different countries. The 47-year-old also said that with the reception that Clash At The Castle and Money In The Bank have had, the UK would be a great place to bring in an event like WrestleMania.
WWE and AEW have recently focused on expanding their business and viewership overseas with their events. WWE hosted their recent PLEs in Saudi Arabia, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the UK. On the other hand, AEW also teamed up with NJPW to host Forbidden Door 2 in Toronto, Canada. They are also set to host All In at Wembley Stadium in August.
