WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 delivered on all accounts for the Indian crowd. Arguably the biggest superstar to appear at the event was John Cena. The Cenation Leader emerged victorious in the main event, sending the fans home with an enjoyable end. However, prior to his match, there was a tense scuffle between a few members of the audience.

Cena made his entrance to a thunderous pop from the live audience. As usual, he ran down to the ring and threw his cap and t-shirt into the crowd. An online clip captured a few fans fighting over the t-shirt during the event. By the looks of it, there was an argument among the fans on the right to claim the 16-time World Champion’s merchandise. It reflects the craze and vehemence that exist among the fans for John Cena.

Besides this small incident, everything else seemed to go according to plan for the promotion that night. As a result, there were moments of fun and entertainment for the live fans to cherish. Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, and Jinder Mahal danced to the popular “Nattu Nattu” song. Furthermore, the Indus Sher waved the Indian flag in the middle of the ring.

John Cena wrestled for the first time in the country. The veteran teamed up with Seth Rollins to defeat Imperium members Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. All in all, Superstar Spectacle was one of the most memorable shows for everyone in attendance on Friday night.

John Cena will appear on the Grayson Waller Effect next week

The return tour of John Cena will continue next week on SmackDown. Cena will appear on The Grayson Waller Effect, as announced on a recent episode of the show. In fact, the Arrogant Aussie claimed that he had several questions in store for the WWE legend.

Previously, Waller interrupted John Cena at the Money In The Bank premium live event. As a result, he received an Attitude Adjustment for his troubles. Therefore, next week will mark the first time the two men come face-to-face since the July event in London.

Grayson Waller has seemingly formed a partnership with Austin Theory over the past few weeks. Interestingly, the latter was the Cenation Leader’s last opponent in a singles match. Due to this, fans have speculated that the rivalry might be revisited, but with the Aussie and LA Knight added to the picture as well.
